What is Google Adwords?

Google Adwords is advertising platform for advertiser to show their ads on google search & google partner sites. In google adwords advertiser bid on certain keywords related to their industry. When user click on these ads then advertiser have to pay for those clicks. There are many factors like cost-per-click, Quality score, Ad Rank etc. which affect on advertising cost. We will discuss this one by one.

Ad Rank :

Ad Rank is score which is calculated based on bid, ad relevance, landing page experience. Actual position of your ad is determined by ad rank. to improve your ad rank you have to improve quality of your ad & adjust bid. When you bid higher & your quality score is low then you have to pay more for one clicks. this happens because high quality score ad have higher ad rank & low CPC(cost-per-click).

Quality score:

Quality score determine how your ad performs & how much you should pay for single click. Quality score is google’s rating for quality & ad relevance for your pay-per click ads & keywords. This is depend on many factors like the relevance of keywords to its ad group, landing page relevance & quality,  your ads click through rate(CTR), relevance of your ad text, historical adwords account performance.


CPC is cost per click, is amount spent by advertiser when user click on their ad. This cpc is determined by your competitiveness of keywords, maximum bid & quality score. Average cpc depend on the keywords & industry. But average cpc for search network is $2.32 & for display network it is $0.58.

Ad relevance:

Ad relevance is measurement of how keywords related to your advertisement. Also relevance of keywords match with ad copy & landing page. This will determine & improve your click-through-rate(CTR) & quality score.

  • Keywords stuffing: It means you are stuffing the keywords that does not make sense for sentence. You should strictly avoid this. Using the keywords naturally make the sentence. For ex. search engine optimization is technique to increase website traffic in organic way. Don’t just stuffing the keywords.
  • Cloaking:  search engine presents one content & visitors will see another content which is conflict to each others. actually tricks to get more visitors from search engine is called cloaking.  You should avoid this technique. So all words in keywords list are included in title.

               Meta description is the next step of seo. More deep description of your website or webpages must be added into this description. Just like title you have to added description/features of products so you can attract more traffic to your website. Meta description should be under 160 characters. In this above dish made my me. This is appe chat which is south indian dish made up from idli batter. I made up garnishing with some yogurt, shev, Coriander, Red Chili Powder. You feel mouth watering after seeing this dish. That’s just because of this is garneshing well.


Chocolate Ice-cream with chocolate chips on the top.

You can’t stop yourself from eating this Ice-cream if you are one of the ice-cream lovers. It will make you tempting after seeing this type of garnishing. If you add umbrella to exotic drinks it will looks pretty good.
